Charitable Purpose
We are a community based centre which is parent governed and teacher managed. Our aim is to provide children with high quality resources and equipment, and an environment which is safe and nurturing, yet encourages risk taking. We also aim to provide an environment which values diversity, promotes self-esteem, provides equitable opportunities and above all, instills a love of learning. We respect childrens' individuality and focus on empowering our children to become competent, confident learners. We believe in respectful, open, honest communication and relationships between our teachers, parents, whanau and tamariki. Our fully qualified teachers will provide an environment within which group learning and the individual child's learning will be extended and enhanced. We value and support our teachers' participation and ongoing professional development. We are committed to upholding the principles of Te Whaariki and will continuously work towards reflecting the dual heritage of Aotearoa
