Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our Vision is to foster and establish a wide community of practice with member schools, further developing a culture of improving learning environments for the region's students. To facilitate ICT initiatives that create regional capacity and are aligned with the expressed needs of the community. For educators within the region to feel more connected with each other. ConnectED HEDON is a registered charitable trust set up to support the implementation of eLearning and best practice teaching and learning in the Waikato education community. We currently have over 30 schools in the cluster and over 100 active members. Members include primary and secondary organisations and a mix of teachers and school leaders.

Entity Structure

The trust is made up of 7 Trustees including a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary and Financial Officer. We provide educational professional development opportunities to our membership.
