Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The encouragement of, and the advancement of the study of amateur cultivation of Orchids particularly in the Otago District. Generally to do all such things whatsoever directly or indirectly which are incidental to or ancillary to these objects.

Entity Structure

Unincorporated society. The elected Officers shall form an Executive Committee which shall have all functions and powers of the Club except such powers as may reserved by the Club itself, subject however, to the general direction and approval of the Club. Meetings of the Executive Committee shall be called by the President, and shall meet regularly during the year. A quorum shall consist of at least five (5) members present. The Executive Committee shall have the powers to set up sub-committees
