Charitable Purpose

Wairau Valley School PTA is responsible for the bulk of the school’s fundraising. Each year this group raises funds for the school, which are spent on projects agreed in advance by the Board and the school staff. • Fundraising must be approved by the Board of Trustees. • Fundraising activities are recorded and monitored through the school’s usual financial checking system. • Money raised must be spent for the approved purpose. • Fundraising activities involving food meet food safety requirement
