Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our mission is to build an effective network of supporters to be the eyes and ears of horses and reduce the suffering caused by neglect and abuse. HWNZ aims to prevent neglect through early intervention. To find permanent homes for unwanted horses in need. To help owners that are struggling to care for their horses. To negotiate the ownership of horses that are suffering as a result of neglect. To assist other welfare organisations in their efforts to achieve the same.
