Charitable Purpose

To hold ownership in trust for the People of South Canterbury the MRI Scanner located at Timaru Hospital and to make provision for its replacement at the end of its life cycle. This is achieved by leasing the MRI Scanner to the Te Whatu Ora with payments being invested towards future replacement.
