Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the society is to promote and offer services to enable a better quality of life for single parent families in Marlborough.

Entity Structure

A committee consisting of a President, Secretary, Treasurer, three other committee members and a representative from Blenheim Lions, where possible.  The rules allow for up not more than five other members.  A coordinator and volunteer manage the Birthright office for part of the year with a paid staff member for a short time.  Four volunteers managed the office for the rest of the year.The society was set up in 1957 to promote and offer services to enable a better quality of life for one-parent
