Vision: To meet the needs of families and individuals in Whakatane and the surrounding district by providing programmes, interventions and services that are effective and help youth and their families thriving in their community with a sense of purpose, belonging and hope. Mission: To meet the needs of young people and their families within a holistic approach and to provide services that will empower them to grow into successful citizens in their community.

Entity Structure

Tumanako Hou Trust is a non-profit community organisation who provide youth and community development initiatives for the Whakatane and surrounding districts. Governed by the Trust we have 5 Trustees. Our staff is made up of full time, part-time and voluntary staff. The foundation of our approach is our faith and commitment to empowering our young people to reach their full God-given potential.
