Charitable Purpose

1) To raise funds for treatment and/or to find a cure for Borrelia/Lyme Disease and its co-infections and Lyme-like illness; 2) To riase awareness and advance the understanding of Borrelia/Lyme Disease and its co-infections and Lyme-like illness and the potential risks to the public of New Zealand; 3) To develop a New Zealand based treatment regime for patients with Boreelia/Lyme Disease and its co-infections and Lyme-like illness

Entity Structure

Ruby Red Lyme Disease Trust has 3 Trustees who do not get paid for their services. There are also a number of volunteers who assist in raising funds. The Trust does not pay any person for salary or wage. Since inception the majority of the payment is to fund the medical treatment cost of a Lyme Disease sufferer.
