Annual Returns are due within 6 months of a charity’s balance date (financial year-end), or a longer period if an extension has been granted.

Note: Charities that use the Tier 4 Combined Form to file their annual returns do not need to file their financial statements separately. The financial statements are included in their annual return summary.

Pursuant to s 61B of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 Trustees agree that as a condition of registration that clause 16(c) of the Trust deed will be read and given effect as if it read: “A member of the Board must disclose the nature of his interest in any contract or arrangement made by or on behalf of the Board at the meeting of the Board at which the Contract or arrangement is determined on if his interest then exists or in any other case at the first meeting of the Board after the acquisition of his interest and he shall not vote in respect of any such contract or arrangement and the office of a member of the Board shall be vacated if he shall fail to observe and perform the requirements of this paragraph”
