Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Māori Association of Social Science (MASS) is to promote the interests of Māori social sciences, and to provide a forum for Māori social scientists to engage with each other. MASS promotes networking amongst Māori social scientists in their many settings, and fosters the realisation of their research efforts in contributing to Māori development and advancement.
