Charitable Purpose

The Purpose of the trust is to provide a structure for oversight and direction of Great Starts emergent vision as a community led Hub

Acts as an umbrella / resource body

We provide a space for casual and regular activities to run as required by the community. Our regular activities are early years playgroup, Toy & Tool Libraries and a koha cafe.

Entity Structure

Great Start Taita is a community-led Hub that works alongside people in the community. All of our activities are developed from the needs of people who access the hub. Toy Library, Tool Library, Playgroup, A space to sit, koha cafe and zumba are just a few of the services we provide. Some groups such as grandparents raising grandchildren hire our rooms on a regular basis and sometimes we have had a our space used for one off events such as Birthday Parties.
