Charitable Purpose
a. To promote the performance of choral music in New Zealand and in particular in Auckland.
b. To maintain and advance the teaching of skills in choral performance and individual and ensemble skills amongst choral singers.
c. To provide funding for the performance of significant choral works.
d. To promote the knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of choral singing.
e. To assist with funding for instrumental, orchestral and solo signing associated with choral performance and encourage, and establish links between performers.
f. To assist in providing performance opportunities for the development of emerging solists.
g. To promote the purposes of this Trust and raise funds for investment and ongoing support of the charitable purposes of the Trust.
h. To disburse funds by way of grants, scholarship, internship or otherwise for the advancement of the charitable purposes of the Trust including for the purpose of supporting the performing objects of The Auckland Choral socie

Entity Structure
The Trust is administered by a board of trustees. The board consists of not less than 3 and not more than 5 nominated members together with the Chairman of the Auckland Choral Society or such person nominated annually who is an ex-officio member of the board (being 6 persons in all). At all times not less than 2 baord memebers shall also be trustees of the Auckland Choral Society. Board memebers reitre after three years and may stand for re-election. Members are selected for their special skill
