Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To provide benefit to groups working in conservation by: - Providing volunteer GIS experts to assist in the use of the GIS technology; - Share experiences, knowledge and ideas with volunteer GIS experts, community conservation and Iwi groups; - Provide a hosted GIS (ArcGIS Online) platform at no cost for eligible community conservation and Iwi groups - To develop and share practices and methods to apply GIS to solve conservation issues - To grow a portfolio of tips and tricks for members
