Charitable Purpose

To provide and maintain a food garden for the benefit of the community; to organise or participate in environmental projects designed to improve the urban environment' to develop and provide programmes promoting the protection and preservation of the environment through re-use, reduction and recycling; to provide food preparation courses, seminars and workshops; to educate on community development through workshops and seminars; to provide other support and assistance consistent with these charitable purposes.

Entity Structure

The Trust is headed by a Board of Trustees which rents a building housing an Opportunity shop and a Community Cafe, adjoining which is a community garden whose produce is free to all. Proceeds from the shops are used for running expenses and to put towards projects to benefit the local community,
