Charitable Purpose

Health Through The Marae seeks to improve the health and wellbeing status of it's iwi and wider community. The concept of Health Through The Marae is an effective way of using Maori Tikanga and Culture as an appropriate medium for reaching Maori and facilitating the adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviors in order to improve maori health and wellbeing.
