Charitable Purpose

The Student Communication and Safe Practices Trust (SCSP) is endeavouring to fill the gap between education and life skills Empowering and Protecting our NZ Youth, working with our community partners to break the cycle of harm and abuse. Supporting SCSP will enable us to achieve the following Positive Outcomes for Kiwi Kids. • Establish a Responders E-Portal giving access to NZ students through all NZ secondary schools. • Establish a Collaborative Prevention & Response Team as a National safety tool available 24/7. • Empower and Protect our Youth from Harm. • Support and Empower Victims. • Ultimately Prevent and Reduce Crime whilst potentially help to Save Lives. • Create Behavioural Change in Families and Communities.

Entity Structure

SCSP is made up of eight hands on trustees/volunteers. Made up of Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Funding and four training developers. We are not an affiliated group, but we do work on a local and national basis in conjunction with a collaborative group of schools, community organisations and emergency services. Working together we can make a positive difference with this effective program building stronger communities, student role models, giving teens vital safety strategies and support.
