Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

• UOS exists to relieve poverty by financially supporting orphans in Uganda, thus enabling them to access food, shelter and education. • UOS relieves poverty by financing initiatives that empower Ugandan orphanages to generate long term sustainable income and become self-sufficient. • UOS advances education by paying for school fees of Ugandan children who would otherwise not be able to afford to attend school.

Entity Structure

UOS is a small organisation made up of three officers who liaise regularly regarding decisions. A wider network of supporters provide funds that are allocated by the offices to different orphanages in Uganda.
