Charitable Purpose
The objects of the Trust are:-
(i) To establish, educate, manage and promote ballet and modern dance in Christchurch and elsewhere in New Zealand.
(ii) To produce and present ballet & modern dance and theatrical performances.
(iii) To foster and promote the choreography of ballet and modern dance.
(iv) To establish and carry on in Christchurch ballet and modern jazz companies.
(v) To encourage and assist persons of talent to become dancers as a career or profession.

Entity Structure
Governed by a Board of Trustees.
Theatre Manager responsible for administration duties and day to day management of the school.
Technical Manager responsible for all technical aspects of the theatre.
Tuition is by 9 tutors most of whom have had a professional career in dance.
Classical ballet tutors are accompanied by a pianist for many classes.
