Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To promote double reed playing in New Zealand for both amateur and professional players of all ages by providing educational opportunities for development by way of workshops, masters classes, concerts and playing opportunities. Also to promote composition and performance of New Zealand music for double reed instruments.

Entity Structure

Membership: All persons who play, teach or support the playing of double reed instruments shall be eligible for membership. Officers: The following officers shall be elected annually: President, Treasurer and Secretary. Qualifications of Officers: Any financial member of the society may be eligible for office. Committee: An organising committee consisting of the President, Secretary, Treasurer and other financial members shall be elected at the AGM.
