Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The objectives of the Omokoroa Community Tennis Club are: (a) to promote tennis in a social atmosphere for the benefit of the community; (b) to provide tennis tuition and competitive opportunities for community; (c) to provide and maintain tennis courts and other facilities and amenities for community; (d) to be an active member of the community with ties to schools and the wider public.

Entity Structure

OCTC is managed by a committee, whose officers are elected at the AGM. The committee comprises at least seven positions as follows: (a) president (who shall preside at meetings at which he or she is present); (b) secretary; (c) treasurer; (d) club captain; (e) three or more general committee members. OCTC is a member of the Omokoroa Sports and Recreation Society Inc.
