Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Trust is “Empowered, Vibrant, Nurturing Community-A Responsible community working collaboratively to strengthen the health, wellness & values of the Taumarunui District” 3.1 “To work in co-operation together connecting services & projects by identifying gaps in the community and available assets and resources.” 3.2 “To provide a platform for small groups to share information, resource programmes, projects and events by supporting the administration, marketing and promotion of Thrive activities” 3.3 “To engage communities by supporting programme delivery targeted to increase the uptake and participation in regional and national initiatives (e.g. National Children’s Day, White Ribbon Day) Our Vision “Whakapuawai Tautoko” -Supported in cause to blossom, develop, flourish, prosper & Thrive We would like to be excused the administration fee because the bulk of the income was from grants and donations totalling at $22,232.00 V's our total income of $22,742.00.

Entity Structure

Trust Structure: The Board will comprises of no less than three (3) Trustees and no more than ten (9) Trustees. We currently have 7 Trustees that constitute our governance board and four (4) officer positions; chairperson, co-chair, Treasurer and Secretary. Operational Structure: Each Trustee is a community programme leader for projects run under the Thrive umbrella. There are no full time paid employee's. Progamme leaders are voluntary workers who are supported by participant volunteers.
