De-registered	27/03/2024	Just Peoples was originally registered as a NZ charity. As one of the co-founders lived in Melbourne, Just Peoples Ltd was then registered as a DGR Charity in Australia. We were technically running both entities until the 27 March 2024, with donations from Kiwis coming through to the NZ entity and donations from Australia and the rest of the world coming through our Australian entity. We realised that we could reduce our overhead cost and governance and operational burden by receiving the donations from Kiwi residents to Just Peoples through The Gift Trust and have them granted on to our Australian entity going forward. We granted the money remaining in Just Peoples' bank account to one of our overseas partners on the 26th of March 2024 ($941.27) and submitted our 23/24 Annual return by the deadline of 30-Sep-2024 through Charity Services. We did not go through the process of deregistering the NZ entity at the time due to an oversight on our part.
