Entity Structure

Deaf Aotearoa New Zealand (DANZ) (the Society) is the sole shareholder of Deaf Aotearoa Holdings Ltd (DAHL) (the Company). There are up to 9 board members elected by & from DANZ’s membership on the DANZ Executive Board & up to 7 Directors on the DAHL Board, including the CEO of DAHL & 2 DANZ Board representatives. DANZ is the NZ Ordinary Member of the World Federation of the Deaf. DANZ is responsible for setting the overall strategy for the organisation, & DAHL manages the day-to-day operations.
