Charitable Purpose

Pomegranate Kitchen is a social enterprise catering company, where former refugees receive training and experience in preparing food for the Wellington market. Pomegranate Kitchen harnesses the cooking expertise of new arrivals to New Zealand, using a strengths-based approach to improve financial and social outcomes for former refugees while exposing Wellingtonians to a diverse range of food experiences.

Pomegranate Kitchen is a social enterprise and charitable trust governed by a Board. Our trust deed states that we must have between three and ten trustees, and we currently have five trustees representing the hospitality, business, and social enterprise sectors.
