Entity Structure

We operate out of the Bay of Plenty District Headquarters in Rotorua. Our trust deed states that we must have between 4 and 9 Trustees. We currently have four Trustees that constitute our governance board, including four executive positions: Chairperson, Deputy Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. We are affiliated with New Zealand Police Headquarters, which provides guidance and support but does not control or in any way direct our operations.

Annual Returns

Annual Returns are due within 6 months of a charity’s balance date (financial year-end), or a longer period if an extension has been granted.

Note: Charities that use the Tier 4 Combined Form to file their annual returns do not need to file their financial statements separately. The financial statements are included in their annual return summary.
