The purpose and mission is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. In addition, TNC's vision is a world where the diversity of life thrives, and people act to conserve nature for its own sake and its ability to fulfill our needs and enrich lives.
Our purpose and mission is achieved through the dedicated efforts of TNC's diverse staff, including more than 600 scientists, all of whom impact conservation in 69 countries.
