Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To relief poverty by providing essential services for disadvantaged communities. Raising awareness on isolation amongst Elderly in disadvantaged communities by providing recreational and social activities so Elders feel empowered and appreciated, thereby improving physical and psychological well-being. Creating awareness of HIV by educating youth workers and mentors to support HIV+ children and orphans.

The Projects for Humanity head office is based in Wellington. We have a governance Board that consists of 4 people, including three executive positions: president, treasurer and secretary. The Board sets the strategic direction and vision, the organisation's policies and performance measures, and ensures that the organisation has the resources to achieve its mission while monitoring and evaluating its progress.
