Charitable Purpose

Whakatane Community Garden aims to bring people together to learn and grow food while having fun, improving the environment and ourselves organically! also teaching young kids where food comes from and to share and its a safe place to came for very one also we have 56 bins on site 50% of them are for business and schools daycares and the other 50% of them are for people who wants a bin to grow there own food

we have 7 main committee members that has meetings once an month to see how the garden is running and how to make it better the gardens are open 5 days a week they Are Monday,Wednesday,Thursday,Saturday,Sunday 10-1 we don't open if wet there are 57 vegetable bins on site with there own water system in them 50% of them goes to business and the other 50% goes to the community of the eastern bop and they share there harvest we locaten 20 King Street Kopeopeo Whakatane 3120
