Purpose & Structure
Charitable Purpose
The Trust exists to address issues of health, poverty, exclusion and unemployment through the participation in group physical training programmes “GPT”, education and community activities. The trust is to provide a pathway for teenagers (13-19 year olds) from low socio-economic backgrounds and engage the families and community to help build a positive life for these teenagers.
Our desire is to see these teenagers equipped to thrive and make a positive contribution in their community by improving their hauora (well being). The Trust will create a strong foundation for them to tell their stories of change in ways that is meaningful and inspirational helping them to become confident leaders and succeed in a positive direction

Entity Structure
We have a head office based in Auckland. Our trust deed states that we must have between three and seven Trustees. We currently have Six Trustees that constitute our governance board, including three executive positions: President/Chair, treasurer and secretary. We are affiliated with many Schools and the Mt Wellington Rugby football Club, who provides guidance, facilities for GPT Programmes, Hero Rugby and Academy trainings with support but does not control or in any way direct our operations.
