Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Within Hawke's Bay to: (1) Help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to progress careers in the health and social services sectors by providing funding and mentoring support; (2) Improve access to health for disadvantaged communities by facilitating the path of their youth into careers in health within Hawke's Bay; (3) Grow social and human capital in disadvantaged communities by facilitating the path of their youth into careers in the health and social services sectors in Hawke's Bay.

We have 6 trustees and are supported administratively and operationally by the Napier RSA (which settled the trust) with head office at the premises of the Napier RSA. However, we are independent of the Napier RSA and it does not control or determine our operations.
