Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To provide funds as the Trustees may from time to time determine in the Ruapehu area: 1. To advance education: (i) by supporting local primary and secondary schools with their outdoor education programmes; and (ii) by providing assistance to school children in need to participate in On-Snow programmes at Mt. Ruapehu, as part of the school curriculum (e.g. through the provision of equipment and transport). 2. To be beneficial to the Community: (i) by providing recreational facilities for the community through the provision and restoration of a community hall for use by the general public for community activities; (ii) by providing gym equipment, for the provision of a community gym, to be used by the general public and local schools for the promotion of health and fitness.
