Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Rangiwaho Marae Trustees will encourage all Manuhiri and Tangata Whenua to share in the heritage, environment and culture of Ngati Rangiwaho. Rangiwaho Marae Trustees will provide facilitation and implementation of the charter and marae development plan to completion by ensuring an open and accountable process is in place for hapu and whanau.  For the Mana and Mauri of Rangiwaho Marae by ensuring the Reo, Kawa and Tikanga of the Marae is maintained and enhanced

Entity Structure

Rangiwaho Marae operates as a Marae Reservation, with an active group of Trustees who facilitate a comprehensive Marae and Hapu development plan. This requires a high level of accountability; xero finance system, gst registered, communication (facebook page and bi monthly panui). The Trustee legal and fiduciary obligations are adhered to with monthly meetings, annual AGM, transparent minutes/accounts and credible relationships with collaborators.
