Charitable Purpose

The Trust is established to be a charity whose purpose is to Deaf education. Trust will be educate, train, lead and develop, particularly Maori Deaf its sign language tutors and tri-lingual interpreters.

Entity Structure

We currently have 10 trustees in our Board to provided that supports Maori Deaf whanau to achieve their aspirations in life. The office of the Trust will be in place in New Zealand as the Board of Trustees may from time to time determine. Trust was created in response to a recognition by Government that standard ways of delivering communication and socialsation needs of Maori Deaf community.
