The purpose of the Kia Ākina Charitable Trust is to: • establish, develop and maintain an obesity recovery network • support research, provide information and advocate for the health needs of people with obesity • provide other support and assistance consistent with this charitable purpose

We are an incorporated charitable trust run by the above mentioned volunteer trustees. We have a volunteer co-ordinator and volunteer facilitators to run our network and support the membership.
