Charitable Purpose

The Trust is established for the charitable purposes of: a Protecting and enhancing New Zealand’s habitat and eco-systems so they are as conducive as possible for maintaining a sustainable population of bees; b Educating the New Zealand public and sections of the public of the importance to New Zealand of a healthy and vibrant bee population; c Raising and distributing funds to support bee protection projects and programmes to support a healthy and vibrant bee population

Entity Structure

The organisation currently consists of the three trustees based in Auckland to provide the governance overseeing the work being, and to be, undertaken. We have, and will continue to grow, strong engagement with industry associations, government, communities, including iwi to ensure the charitable purpose is being achieved. The intent is to ensure that the Trust has representation in all communities and neighbourhoods to fulfil the needs associated with the charitable purpose.
