• To provide, repair, protect, carryout work on community assets and reserves in the Taihape and wider area for the benefit of the community; • To promote and advance an educational and scenic native New Zealand forest and wildlife experience for the general public; • Organise or participate in environmental projects designed to preserve and protect flora and fauna, protect and restore rivers; • Relieve poverty in Taihape and wider area by providing community facilities to those in need
