Charitable Purpose

Orange Sky is a not-for-profit organisation providing free mobile laundry and shower services for people experiencing homelessness and hardship. Each week, more than 500 volunteers give their time to help positively connect some of the 41,000 New Zealanders who are doing it tough. The focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or feel disconnected from the community. We carry out our mission to positively connect communities by providing access to free mobile laundry and shower services, as well as the opportunity for connection and genuine conversation on our six orange chairs.
