Charitable Purpose

The vision for the Bay of Islands’ Community Centre is: A safe, welcoming and inclusive community space, centrally located for the communities of the Bay of Islands, where people of all ages can meet; that is violence, drug and alcohol free; where support is provided for people from all walks of life, without discrimination; where a variety of community and social services are available; and which is served by open, transparent and inclusive governance.

Entity Structure

The officers of the Association shall be the: President; Secretary; and Treasurer. Our head office is registered in Paihia, Bay of Islands NZ. We are affiliated with a national body, The Association is incorporated under the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 under number 2636332 The Committee shall: administer and manage the Association and be accountable to the members for the implementation of policies agreed at general meetings. Members must live in the Bay of Islands area
