Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Youth Stars Trust was established to assist and support underprivileged youth and youth at risk. It's purpose is to work with and mentor youth through coaching and mentoring programmes. These programmes aim to inspire, motivate and help youth discover their inner strengths and to develop the confidence to achieve so they can go on to make a positive contribution to their families and communities.

Entity Structure

Youth Stars Trust is an incorporated not-for-profit entity and is not tax exempt. It is required to apply for funding to operate and run its coaching and mentoring programmes. The Executive Manager is not paid, and the three certified officers all assist in a voluntary manner. The Trust can only operate if grants or funding applications are approved. As the trust grows further trustee's will be added to the Trust Deed.
