Charitable Purpose
YSAR Trust (CC56119) is a
non-profit organisation providing a three-year training programme for secondary
school students. Its focus is on skill development, community service
principles and authentic outdoor education learning outcomes that are aligned
with the Search and Rescue (SAR) and Civil Defence Emergency Management (CDEM)
sectors. YSAR is an emerging national brand and is a recognised entity within
the SAR and CDEM sector after a history of delivery training. The positive impact on the SAR and CDEM sector in years to come will be
significant.
With a Mission of “empowering the
next generation of community minded volunteers”, the YSAR programme seeks to
address the aging demographic of community volunteers and the lack of
innovation and technology aligned to the SAR and CDEM sectors and is in a
unique position to achieve these outcomes. .
