Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

We foster an interest in the various branches of electronics, giving young people and the community exposure to science, technology, engineering and math subjects, as well as opportunities to learn and get involved. We further the objectives of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters (NZART), a registered charity. We co-operate and provide communications during events and emergencies. We provide training courses and exam supervision for aspiring amateur radio operators.
