Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Objectives To advance education by: Encouraging parents/caregivers to be involved in the education of their children. Providing a link between students, parents/caregivers and the school. Raising funds to provide improved facilities and educational opportunities for members of the school community. Carrying out other activities consistent with the charitable objects of the organisation.

Entity Structure

The Raglan Area school PTA is run by a board of executive committee members consisting of a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer etc. For more information, I have included the signed constitution and also a copy of the September minutes that shows a motion passed to apply for charitable status. See constitution Doc attached. We recently had our AGM but we have not had those minutes passed yet so I have not included those.
