Purpose & Structure


Charitable Purpose

To maintain, preserve, enhance and continue the gardens and adjoining farmlands known as "Ostler's Gardens" as gardens and recreational areas for all persons having an interest in such gardens and to provide sanctuary for bird life. And further includes a) Co-operating with any other person or persons both service institution, company, corporation, club society, statutory body or government department in order to promote, achieve, support or maintain any of the foregoing activities. b) Publications of books, manuscripts, journals, bulletins, circulars, newsletters or any other publications in order to promote, support or maintain any of the foregoing activities, and c) Doing such other lawful acts and things as are incidental to or conductive to the attainment of the foregoing activities. d) Making available scholarships to persons wanting to undertake horticultural studies. e) Supporting people undertaking apprenticeships in the horticultural industry f) The Trustees of the trust work
