To advance education by increasing and enhancing the learning of the traditions and histories of the 28th Maori Battalion descendants of Whangaparaoa and Te Whanau a Apanui and use of Te Reo o Te Whanau a Apanui and associated iwi traditions and customs.

1.The TRWM o Whangaparaoa group shall be known as Te Roopu Whakamaumahara o Whangaparaoa Charitable Trust 2.The TRWM o Whangaparaoa here after will be referred to as Te Roopu Whakamaumahara o Whangaparaoa Charitable Trust 3.shall be constituted as follows: [a] up to five trustees [b] up to three local hapu members. 4.A management committee will be established to deal with the day to day operations of Te Roopu Whakamaumahara o Whangaparaoa.
