Charitable Purpose

The Wellington Opera Trust will foster and promote the development and performance of opera, for the benefit of audiences and artists connected to the greater Wellington region. The Trust will: provide opportunities for singers, directors, composers, theatre technicians, conductors; support viable career pathways; and develop audiences though diverse and relevant repertoire. Wellington Opera will lead the sector and the world by operating as a carbon-neutral arts organisation from inception.
