Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To be beneficial to the community by: (a) Establishing and maintaining growing facilities for the use of the community to grow native plants, trees and shrubs for reforestation and riparian planting projects in Northern Southland. (b) By educating and inspiring the community in regards to native flora and fauna and encouraging volunteers to be involved in community planting projects.

Entity Structure

Based in Lumsden, we service the Northern Southland area. Our trust deed states that we must have between three and five Trustees. We currently have four Trustees that constitute our governance board, including two executive positions: chair and secretary. We are recruiting for a fifth trustee.
