Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Trust will be to provide a community support and belonging group, at a time when the bereaved person feels disconnected from others, to assist and support the bereaved through their trauma and encourage them through their grieving process, to be OK with their feelings no matter what they are. In particular the Trust will: 3.1 assisting families as soon as possible after suicide (one on one) 3.2 provide a safe environment for people to connect with others who have experience

Diane Kontvainis-Hay has been supporting her community for the past 9 years as a victim support volunteer. Personally affected by the loss of suicide she understands the importance of supporting families and friends through the trauma of suicide. Diane continues to provide support to these families The Trust was created for this purpose. The Trust Deed states that we must have no less than 3 Trustees.
