Charitable Purpose

• Overall Aim: To preserve and restore safe habitats for the native birdlife of Aotearoa providing a safe living and breeding environment • To further conservation efforts locally and nationally • To support the conservation and restoration of native ecosystems • To partner with existing not-for-profit conservation organisations and foster collaboration, encouraging the formation of outcomes that can be greater than the sum of the parts individual organisations could otherwise achieve

Entity Structure

The organisation is run from our home in Christchurch, with no other physical premises. We currently have two Trustees that constitute our governance board. We have three executive positions: chairperson, treasurer, and coordinator who execute the daily activities of the organisation and are accountable to the governance board.
