Charitable Purpose

Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council is established under the HPCA Act that enables self-regulation of various health professions - the principle purpose of the act being to protect the health and safety of members of the public by providing for mechanisms to ensure that health practitioners are qualified, competent and fit to practise their profession.
